Shri Annapurna Mata puja is performed for food security, nourishment, prosperity, health, and removal of financial or household scarcity. Maa Annapurna is the goddess who provides ann (food) and sustains life.
Preparation
Take a bath early in the morning and wear clean clothes
Clean the kitchen or puja area thoroughly

Decorate with red or yellow cloth and flowers
