Lord Kamadeva is the Hindu God of love, desire, attraction, and sensual pleasure. He is often worshipped along with his consort Goddess Rati. Preparation
Take a bath in the morning or evening and wear clean, light-colored or red clothes
Clean the puja place thoroughly
Place the idol or picture of Lord Kamadeva and Goddess Rati on a clean altar
Sit facing East or North direction
Keep your mind calm and focused with positive thoughts

Fragrant flowers (rose, jasmine, lotus)

Puja Vidhi Steps
Light the lamp and incense sticks
Invoke Lord Ganesha first to remove obstacles
Offer flowers, akshat, turmeric, kumkum and sandalwood to Kamadeva and Rati
Perform abhishek (bath) with water, milk or panchamrit
Offer fruits, sweets, coconut and betel leaves as naivedya
Offer perfume or rose water
Chant Kamadeva mantras with devotion

Kamadeva Puja is especially auspicious on Holi, Vasant Panchami, Fridays, and Kamadeva Jayanti. Worship should be done with pure heart and good intentions.
