Invocation
Invite Khatu Shyam Ji to accept the worship
Chant the mantra 'Om Shri Shyam Devaya Namah' 11 or 21 times
Offering Seat and Water
Offer a flower and dedicate a seat

True devotion and faith hold special importance in the worship of Khatu Shyam Ji. Ekadashi and especially worship during the Falgun month are considered highly auspicious. Love and devotion are considered the most important aspects of the worship.
