Face east direction during the puja

Offer red flowers and Akshat while praying

Asana & Padya
Offer flowers as a symbolic seat to Surya Dev
Sprinkle water for purification and welcome

Alankaar (Decoration)

Circumambulate around the puja place or idol 1 or 3 times

Prasad Distribution
Distribute fruits, jaggery, sweets, and prasad among family members
Important Guidelines
Sunday is considered highly auspicious for Surya Dev worship. Offering Arghya to the rising sun daily is believed to improve health, confidence, and positive energy. Makar Sankranti, Ratha Saptami, and Chhath Puja are especially important festivals related to Surya Dev worship.
