Jagannath Ji Puja Vidhi

Jagannath Ji worship is full of simplicity and warmth. At home, devotees may worship him with a clean altar, sattvic food, flowers, Tulsi, and repeated remembrance of the Lord's name.

Preparation

  • Take a bath and wear clean clothes

  • Clean the puja place

  • Place the image or idol of Jagannath Ji, preferably with Balabhadra and Subhadra if available

  • Keep the altar neat and peaceful

  • Prepare a sattvic food offering

  • Sit with a calm and loving mind

Puja Materials

  • Jagannath Ji image or idol

  • Lamp

  • Incense sticks

  • Fresh flowers

  • Tulsi leaves if available

  • Chandan

  • Kumkum and akshat

  • Fruits

  • Cooked sattvic food or sweets

  • Water

  • Bell
