Important Rules
Tulsi Mata loves purity and cleanliness. Do not pluck Tulsi leaves without bathing. Avoid plucking Tulsi leaves on Sundays, Sankranti, Amavasya, and after sunset (as per local traditions). Water Tulsi daily, but avoid excessive watering. Devotion and pure intent are more important than ritual complexity.
For simple daily worship, offer water to Tulsi Mata, light a lamp, show incense, chant ‘Om Tulsaye Namah’ 11 times, and perform circumambulation. Tulsi Mata, pleased with true devotion, blesses the home with happiness, peace, and prosperity.
