Wake up early during Brahma Muhurta
Take a bath and wear clean or yellow clothes
Maintain purity of mind, speech, and actions
Keep the puja area clean and peaceful
Place the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu on a clean seat
Use a yellow cloth as the puja base
